Kim Kardashian’s Surrogacy Journey

Kim Kardashian has four children. She had the first two children in January 2014 and December 2015. But both of these two giving birth to her pregnancy brings lots of pain in her life. She suffered from placenta accreta after giving birth first two children. But she always loves to have more number of children. In an interview, Kim Kardashian stated that she preferred to have six children. But her physical condition did not allow her to conceive further after giving birth to her two children. Then, she had taken help from surrogates to fulfill her dream. 

She had undergone three surgeries to repair her uterus. Her uterus had disrupted during the first two delivery. But surgical interventions unable to help her. She tried the IVF process also before taking help from surrogates. Her second child is a result of IVF treatment.  But unfortunately, it did not work after her second child. She mentioned stimulation injection during the normal IVF process also could not work for her.

Placenta accreta is a serious pregnancy complication. In normal cases, the developed placenta during the gestational period is detached after delivery. But the placenta remains to attach in patients have complained of placenta accreta, like Kim Kardashian, and causes excessive blood to lose after delivery. The excessive deep development of the placenta into the uterine wall causes placenta accreta.   

Kim Kardashian aware of her placenta accreta disease during her first pregnancy. Her first daughter born prematurely and doctors are worried about her preeclampsia. She faced a lot of trouble and pain during her pregnancy and after delivery. But her motherly hood inspires her to never stop to achieve her dream. Kim always gives priority to her family. She loves to have a second issue as early as possible. She wanted a close difference between siblings, as she also has her sister. She tried IVF for their next issue. At the age of 43, Kim Kardashian conceived the second time through the IVF process. But she experienced more difficulty during her second conception. She faced a painful challenge due to placenta accreta after delivery. Although her pregnancy journeys were not very smooth, she thankful to God for having her two closely born children. Soon after giving birth to both of her children, Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye tried hard for their next child. But they failed in all ways for the normal conceiving process. Doctors revealed the fact that Kim could no longer be able to conceive. The couple felt miserable after hearing the news. However, they never stop themselves to fulfill their dream.

 

In September 2017, the couple had announced that they expected their third child would arrive soon. But this time Kim had neither experienced any physical challenge and nor experienced any bumpy belly. They had opted surrogacy. The couple was deeply involved in the whole surrogacy process. They have taken care of the surrogate by offering her diet regimen. In January 2018, the couple blessed with a daughter when their first child’s age was 4 years and the second child’s age was 2 years.

Kim Kardashian maintained a friendly relationship with her surrogate. She mentioned that she loved her surrogate, though she did not want to maintain any personal relationship with her. Even Kim Kardashian did not reveal about surrogacy to her children yet then. However, she had a regret about her surrogacy decision because of her inability to become pregnant any more. But soon after, she recovered from her temporary regret. The couple hired another surrogate at the end of 2018. They have their baby boy (4th child) on 10th May 2019. 

It is very appreciable that Kim disclosed her pregnancy details and related difficulty. She also valiantly revealed her surrogacy journey, which inspires others who have similar types of fertility issues.
